Sunday Mornings

When you walk through the church doors on Sunday morning, you will be welcomed by one of our wonderful greeters! You are welcome at Elkview Baptist Church and we’re excited for your visit and for you to consider being a part of our church family. Our hope, in addition to sharing the Gospel of Christ, is to provide a family-friendly experience, serving the whole family- whatever stage your family is in on life’s journey.

If you are joining us for Sunday School, our greeters can help you choose the right class for you to attend, assist in getting your children to their class or to the nursery, and get your family information so that we can reach out and let you know how much we appreciate your visit with us! We have Sunday School options for all ages, as well as nursery for those under 2 years old.

If you are joining us at 10:30 for worship, our greeters will show you where to go, and let you know the worship options for children if you have kids in attendance with you.

Here at Elkview Baptist, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God’s Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together. From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed.

Wednesday Evenings

Not unlike Sundays at Elkview Baptist Church, Wednesday evenings are geared towards serving all members of your family. We have Awana classes for students age 2 through grade 5, Echo Student Ministries for students in grades 6-12, and Bible Study options for adults that vary in topic. Classes for children and teens begin at 6:15 p.m. If you would like to bring your children to Awana for the first time, please visit our Awana page (here) for registration and directions. Adult Bible Study begins at 6:00 p.m. Someone will be available to give you information on our current Bible Study options and where they are being held.

We strive to maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere for you to worship and learn. At Elkview Baptist Church, we have a place for you to belong, grow, and serve.
