Belong.
Having a place to call your church home is vital to the spiritual health of Christians. Walking the path that follows Christ is not meant to be a solitary journey. We are called to be in fellowship with other Christians to help share our joys and burdens, grow together, and develop friendships……. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward in their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion, but woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.”
We have many places for our guests and members to belong. While we cherish our guests, we do encourage all servants of Christ to embrace a church home. In addition to our Sunday Morning Worship, we also have small groups, Sunday School classes, men’s and women’s ministries, and more. Thes opportunities help you find the people that you click with, the people who will be by your side and help you grow in Christ.

Grow.
Growing in Christ can take on many forms. While our small groups and classes help you find your place within our church family, they are also designed to help you grow in your knowledge and study of God’s Word, grow in your prayer life, and grow in relationship with Christ and fellow believers.
Hebrews 5:12-14 teaches us that we are to continually grow in our knowledge so that we can become teachers of the gospel. We should not remain content with the basic knowledge of the gospel, but hunger to learn more and grow into leaders and teachers- even if we are only teaching our own families.

Serve.
As a believer in Christ, we are called to serve. Jesus himself modeled servant behavior by feeding the multitude, caring for the sick, washing the feet of His disciples, and even going to the cross for us. Now, as we are called to share the gospel, we are also called into Christ’s service. Serving Christ takes many forms. Sometimes, it looks like teaching a Sunday School class or leading a small group. Sometimes, serving looks like bringing food to a neighbor or feeding a crowd of volunteers. Other times, serving takes us outside of the church walls to distribute food and necessities to our neighbors in the community or to run the vans to bring children to church.
We have many opportunities to serve. It takes many hands and feet to share Christ, and we are blessed to serve together.
With many ministry opportunities for people of all ages, we encourage our members and friends to find ways to belong, grow, and serve. We do all of these things in accordance to God’s Word as followers of Christ. When we embrace a church home and family, we are embracing the plan that God has for His church. By getting involved in a ministry (or two), you are embracing your church!
